They need to be fixed immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With Deputy Thompson soon to be working full time on Binford Rd, he can monitor the fences and repairs needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Columnist Dick Spotswood mentioned the fences need to be repaired in his latest column. He wrote,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;There\u2019s valid concern that trash and auto leaks are spilling into the adjacent California Department of Fish and Wildlife\u2019s marsh. The state once had fencing limiting entry to the marsh, but it\u2019s fallen into disrepair. Since I wrote the formal complaint (proof of mail on May 4, 2023), you have had most RV residents remove their personal items\/junk from your side of the fence to the county side of the fence. However, the fence has to be repaired in order for the lines to be drawn and trash and toxins not to continually seep into the wetlands. If you do not repair the fence, and are still in dereliction of your duties, I will have no other choice other than to sue you to do your job. It doesn&#8217;t have to be this way. I just want you to protect our wildlife. It appears F&amp;W protect some sensitive habitats in California and not others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently I am seeing plastic bags, bottles and styrofoam items in this wetlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please let me know if you will or will not fix the fences within 30 days of this email. If you don&#8217;t, sadly I will be seeing you in court. With a sane judge, I will win and the press will have a field day. Binford Road has garnered national attention.
