I and other residents of Novato are very concerned about the dogs on Binford Road Novato that are under the RV residents care (Binford Rd is the largest unhoused encampment in Marin). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
One dog (no photo attached as it was unsafe to take the picture) is sporadically tied to the Fish and Game fence in the rain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two dogs (photo attached) were frolicking in the wetlands on Sunday March 27, 2023 disrupting the habitat. Fish and Game have been notified, but have not responded yet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another dog (photo attached) was loose on the side of the road where it is a 55mph zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The county is aware of the unsafe speed (although they have done nothing so far to reduce the speed limit\u2014no fault to MCSD) on Binford Rd<\/strong> with no shoulder to walk on\u2014or dogs to be on– as the RVs are taking up the space. I am concerned about an animals being hit and another being cold tied up outside in the rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thank you for your good works with the Marin Humane Society.
