This persistent problem, which has plagued our community for over a decade, is exacerbating environmental degradation, compromising public safety, and threatening the delicate balance of our cherished wetlands. This is a terrible pollution violation.  <a href=\"https:\/\/wildlife.ca.gov\/Enforcement\/CalTIP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Goto this site to file your complaint!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Start by Emailing Eric Lucan<\/strong> at<strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:elucan@marincounty.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">elucan@marincounty.org<\/a><\/strong> or use <a href=\"mailto:elucan@marincounty.org?bcc=info@movewith.site&amp;subject=Concerns about inhumane living conditions and wetlands damage&amp;body=Dear%20Mr.%20Lucan%2C%0A%0AI%20am%20writing%20to%20you%20today%20to%20express%20my%20deep%20concern%20about%20the%20people%20living%20in%20inhumane%20conditions%20and%20the%20damage%20being%20done%20to%20the%20wetlands%20as%20a%20result.%20While%20I%20appreciate%20the%20Sheriff%27s%20Department%27s%20efforts%20to%20remove%20abandoned%20cars%20and%20RVs%20from%20the%20area%2C%20there%20is%20still%20much%20more%20work%20to%20be%20done%20in%20regards%20to%20personal%20items%20and%20hoarding%20spilling%20into%20the%20wetlands.%0A%0AI%20understand%20that%20there%20has%20been%20talk%20of%20%22grandfathering%22%20the%20existing%20RVs%20at%20Binford%20Road%2C%20but%20I%20must%20strongly%20object%20to%20this%20proposal.%20It%20is%20simply%20not%20acceptable%20for%20people%20to%20continue%20living%20in%20such%20poor%20conditions%2C%20especially%20when%20it%20is%20causing%20damage%20to%20the%20surrounding%20environment.%20Additionally%2C%20it%20has%20come%20to%20my%20attention%20that%20Binford%20Road%20is%20being%20used%20as%20a%20free%20storage%20facility%20for%20boats%2C%20jet%20skis%2C%20a%20Harley%20Davidson%2C%20and%20even%20an%20expensive%20Chevy%20Nova.%20This%20is%20clearly%20an%20abuse%20of%20the%20situation%20and%20must%20be%20addressed%20immediately.%0A%0AFurthermore%2C%20I%20am%20concerned%20about%20the%20slow%20progress%20being%20made%20in%20putting%20up%20berms%20to%20prevent%20further%20damage%20to%20the%20wetlands.%20With%20three%20more%20RVs%2Fvans%20now%20occupied%20and%20open%20spaces%20on%20the%20wetlands%20side%20soon%20to%20be%20occupied%2C%20this%20situation%20is%20only%20growing%20more%20urgent.%20The%20berms%20that%20have%20been%20installed%20at%20the%20end%20of%20Binford%20have%20already%20been%20flattened%20out%20by%20DPW%20in%20some%20spots%2C%20allowing%20tents%20to%20pop%20up.%0A%0AI%20strongly%20urge%20you%20to%20take%20action%20on%20these%20issues%20as%20soon%20as%20possible.%20The%20RVs%20need%20to%20be%20relocated%20to%20the%20former%20Honor%20Farm%20or%20back%20to%20the%20Civic%20Center%20where%20the%20Supervisors%20drove%20them%20out.%20This%20will%20not%20only%20help%20the%20people%20living%20in%20these%20conditions%20but%20will%20also%20protect%20the%20wetlands%20from%20further%20damage.%0A%0AThank%20you%20for%20your%20attention%20to%20this%20matter.%0A%0ASincerely%2C%0A%0A%5BYour%20Name%5D\">this email template<\/a>.
