Major Risk to Wetlands – Algae Blooms!

Matt Willis and Ed Morton should both should know that the recent algae blooms in the wetlands are an indication of a significant degradation of water quality. The human waste kills aquatic species which in turn increases the Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) in the water body. That in turn creates the algae blooms we now see. So, instead of having a healthy wetland that clarifies the water and improves water quality, we’re degrading the water in that wetland that provides essential habitat for several protected species.

They should be ashamed of themselves for failing to act.

Lt Morton,

As per your request, attached are just a few of the unregistered vehicles also leaking fuel in the Rush Creek Preserve. There were too many to send you. Please go and see this for yourself and fine those that are in violation of your posted signs.

HELP SAVE OUR WETLANDS!

This magnificent Eagle used to hunt at Rush Creek

WE LOVE OUR WETLANDS

Trash, fossil fuels, and human waste are entering our sensitive Wetlands from the encampment on Binford. At the rate this area is being polluted, this Eagle may no longer have a home soon.

Please help our environment and the endangered species!

There are nesting Bald Eagles, Salt Marsh Harvest Mouse and
the California Clapper Rail who are threatened in the now
polluted area.

What can you do?

Communicate your concerns to responsible officials, family, neighbors and anyone who enjoys our Wetlands.

Binford Road Call to Action “Scott’s Junk”

CALL TO ACTION!

Please file a quick code enforcement complaint on the link below about “Scott” at the end of Binford Road at Airport Blvd Novato. He is using Binford Road as his personal storage and mechanic shop.  He is allowing gas, faulting electrical and toxins to spew everywhere.  He does not have a business license to do this. This also attracts vermin. There should not be a set of rules for the taxpayer and the non-taxpayer.
