When do we move these criminals away from our familties?

Witness the Destruction of the Rush Creek Open Space & Waterfowl Preserve.
When do we move these criminals away from our familties?

Terry Leo Kramer, 60, was booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of drug possession for sale, driving while his license is suspended for DUI and violating his release terms in a Sonoma County drug case, among other offenses. He remained in custody Sunday night in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Dear Eric,
We applaud the Sheriff’s Office for arresting the criminals on Binford Rd.
The good people of Novato have lost patience with the crime, hoarding and feces going into the wetlands. The sewage is being dumped out at night. We have seen a man raking sewage into the wetlands.
Most of the berms were put where the RVs weren’t parking, however it is at least a start. We need more berms on the wetlands side.
The below perp allegedly was sent here from Petaluma PD and talks a sob story to the press.
There are now more vehicles on Binford since you have taken office.
The RVs need to be relocated promptly. The vast property the county owns at the Civic Center is where they need to go if you don’t want them at the Honor Farm or Former SG Golf Course. Grandfathering them in at Binford will not be accepted by our community.

Subject: Polluting the wetlands at Rush Creek Preserve
Dear Lisa,
I obtained your name, phone number and email address from James at the main phone number for the Division of Water Quality.
I want to launch a complaint against the Marin County Board of Supervisors for allowing dozens – nearly 100 – RVs to park illegally along Binford road. Residents of these RVs and other vehicles pose a public safety hazard and public health hazard. They also dump their human waste directly into the wetlands and waters of Rush Creek Preserve, which has significantly degraded water quality.
The Rush Creek Preserve is east of Highway 101 just north of Novato. You may read about the vehicles illegally parked along Binford Road last week because the story made both the national and international news:
Marin County not only turns a blind eye to the problem, they continue to encourage people to come by providing services to the RV residents. There are much better locations to provide those services that do not have the significant adverse effects on wetlands.
But that preserve was once grazing land. It may have been reclaimed BLM land that was sold to a private individual. I do not recall exact dates, but the creek and wetlands were restore 5 to 10 years ago at great expense. The results were dramatic. Water quality improved, birds returned as did rabbits and other small game as well as bobcats and coyotes that feed on them. So did birds, including kites and bald eagles as well as migratory ducks, geese and swans.
No longer. They now stay away from Binford Road sue to degraded water quality. We now see all sorts of disgusting human waste and trash in the water. Several people on volunteer cleanup crews have seen dead fish. The situation is as unnecessary as it is unacceptable.
You can help us in two ways. First, providing water quality reports from 3 to 4 years ago it would be extremely helpful. We suspect you may have them because of the wetlands restoration project. Second, you can initiate enforcement action against Marin County to force them to provide homeless services at a more acceptable location, prevent future illegal parking along Binford Road, and clean up the waste and debris they’ve allowed to accumulate in the wetlands.
Thank you very much for hearing me out. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Subject: Binford Rd Novato 5.17.2023 Fences broken down RV residents using the wetlands as a playground and formal complaint
Dear Captain Clint Garrett and Warden Ed Morton,
Below are today’s photos of the absence of a F&W fence on the once protected wetlands on Binford Road Novato. They need to be fixed immediately.
With Deputy Thompson soon to be working full time on Binford Rd, he can monitor the fences and repairs needed.
Columnist Dick Spotswood mentioned the fences need to be repaired in his latest column. He wrote,
“There’s valid concern that trash and auto leaks are spilling into the adjacent California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s marsh. The state once had fencing limiting entry to the marsh, but it’s fallen into disrepair. It should be repaired promptly.”:
Attached is also my formal complaint against your organization for your deriliction of your duties. Since I wrote the formal complaint (proof of mail on May 4, 2023), you have had most RV residents remove their personal items/junk from your side of the fence to the county side of the fence. However, the fence has to be repaired in order for the lines to be drawn and trash and toxins not to continually seep into the wetlands. If you do not repair the fence, and are still in dereliction of your duties, I will have no other choice other than to sue you to do your job. It doesn’t have to be this way. I just want you to protect our wildlife. It appears F&W protect some sensitive habitats in California and not others.
Currently I am seeing plastic bags, bottles and styrofoam items in this wetlands.
Please let me know if you will or will not fix the fences within 30 days of this email. If you don’t, sadly I will be seeing you in court. With a sane judge, I will win and the press will have a field day. Binford Road has garnered national attention. F&W might be getting that too—and not in a good way.
I look forward to hearing from you.

We understand the RV residents want medical and didn’t want the needles…however needles have been found in wetlands AND in the designated garbage heaps.
Search and Rescue looking for a Binford Resident in the wetlands. Sources say “Eddie” has been missing for a month and has been known to live at and frequent Binford Rd.
